Why Bali?
Bali, July 2023
Bali is the most well-known destination among Indonesia’s 17,000 islands. We love that it offers something for everyone, whether you’re looking to chill out on the beach, find your zen in the many yoga studios, or delve into the island’s art scene. There’s also plenty to do for adventurous souls, be it hiking volcanoes at sunrise or swimming in waterfalls at sunset.
There is raw beauty all over and around Bali. The island boasts a myriad of impressive volcanoes, crystalline beaches, world-class diving, diverse nightlife, iconic ricefields, and and gorgeous waterfalls.
Visit
My favorite places I visited
Tejakula
Fringed by rocky, palm-lined beaches, the picturesque region sits between mountain and sea with only a smattering of accommodation options and zero in terms of nightlife or non-local eateries. Instead, it offers old-world village ambience, unobstructed ocean views, and a vibrant artisan community.
Address:
Tejakula, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81173, Indonesia
What I like about it
We stayed in a remote little resort with very litle to do except relax and soak up the local atmosphere.
Kopi Pangeran Coffee shop
Everyone's favorite neighborhood cafe with a variety of breakfast and brunch options.
Address:
Jl. Penestanan, Sayan, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80517, Indonesia
What I like about it
It was tiny! Not always easy to get a seat but it was such a tranquil little place, the food is was tasty and the staff are were super friendly.
Volcano views
We stayed between two volcanos, Agung anf Batur on the edge of lake Batur.
Address:
jl. Songan, Toyabungkah, Songan A, Kintamani, KAB. Bangli, Kintamani, Bangli, Indonesia, Bali
